Penultimate Press and Cenatus present two disparate figures from the French experimental tradition of musique concrète: Ghédalia Tazartès and Michel Chion – live at Cafe OTO on 24 and 25 March 2011.
As part of our Netaudio festival project and in partnership with Sound and Music we present a collection of 12 interviews with leading practitioners operating in the field of new music, digital media and sonic art.
In partnership with Penultimate Press we established an ongoing series of experimental and outsider music events, featured so far Graham Lambkin, Jerome Noetinger, Family Battle Snake, Lee Gamble and many more.
How are audiences using the Internet for the creation and consumption of music? Cenatus hosts a panel at Future Everything in Manchester, to present the latest research by Sound and Music and Netaudio London into current user behaviour and a forecast on what is to come next in the field of music facilitated by digital media.
As associate to the hub, Andi Studer got to produce the SEAS Club in Gothenburg together with the Irish radio producer Deirdre Melvin.
Working for Wendy Smithers (the hub), Andi Studer developed and produced the audio-visual evaluation for the Festival of Learning London.
Netaudio Ping Pong is an interactive music performance where participants mingle with cutting-edge technology to produce some wicked beats!
Netaudio, the UK’s foremost festival dedicated to the musical sounds of the Internet took over the spacious Roundhouse Studios, Cafe OTO and KOKO in May 2011.
2006 saw the first issue of London’s Netaudio festival. Over 3 days in September Netaudio’06 featured over 50 performers, commissioned a live audio-installation as well as various workshops and network discussions.
As part of the PRS Foundation’s New Music Plus… programme, Andi Studer produced the music events for the Serpentine Gallery throughout 2009.
